Artists like Wizkid, Davido, Tiwa Savage or Mr. Eazi have constantly raised the bars and remixed in the most unexpected and original ways, those classic values that had defined the local scene in the last decades. With numerous achievements and even more unforgettable Nigerian music concerts that have gathered thousands of fans, the year 2017 might seem to have been the ultimate peak of the Nigerian hip hop music. Nevertheless, the recent evolutions and music performances of younger aspiring artists can only disprove this. While names like Tekno, Kiss Daniel, Lady Donil or Maleek Berry are on the tips of everybody’s tongues much like free betting tips in the streets today. Teckno “Teenage Dreams”
So far, Alhaji Teckno has proven an incredibly skilled Nigerian music songwriter and composer, managing two memorable singles in 2017, the thrilling “Go”, and the heart-melting “Mama”. Each of them has reputed numerous appearances in the Top 10 Nigerian songs with the most Google searches. And to top it all, Teckno has taken the Wizkid music level as well as his involvement to the next level, producing for huge names like Davido. His recent studio photo next to the infamous Drake has only contributed further to the fuss and excitement with which his fans are waiting for the new release.
Maleek Berry “First Daze of Winter”
Maleek Berry released his first music material way back in 2011, and since that moment on, he never looked back.
